Description

The Cucurucu crochet hook case holds all your crochet tools, so you can easily take them with you! The foldable case fits up to 7 crochet hooks and all your other essential tools, like scissors, yarn needles, and stitch markers. If you’re someone like me and your crochet tools are always getting lost (or if you just think that your tools deserve a cute case) then this one is for you! The pattern also includes instructions to make a cute purse (see last photo).

The Cucurucu crochet hook case pattern is also available in a pattern bundle with the matching Patti bag (10% off).

SIZE: the measurements of the case when folded are approx. 10×18 cm (4×7 inch), but it’s possible to make it a bit bigger. The pattern includes instructions for how to adjust the case to hold crochet hooks with handles.

SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner (you just need to know the basics). This pattern includes written instructions, photos of every step, and graphics, so it’s very easy to follow!

LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology).

YARN: I recommend using yarn weight 4 (Medium/Aran/Worsted). I used 5 balls of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 (1 ball = 50 g/75 m/82 yds).

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: you can adjust the size of the case a little, so that it fits up to 7 crochet hooks.

Enjoy crocheting!

Loved how clear and detailed this pattern was. The images were essential and it left nothing to guess work. I’m an experienced crocheter but this is only the 3rd pattern i’ve ever followed and i appreciate how no prior knowledge was assumed. I made some alterations, some intentional some accidental. Increased the base to accomodate all my hooks and folded it over to create the pocket. Made a second round of the hook holder and strips at the side for more storage. This was scrap busting for me so i cared less about perfect rows and more about using every last piece of yarn. So practical, so joyful.
