Diane vest – crochet pattern

Description

The Diane vest was inspired by geometrical fabric designs from the 70s. It’s very soft, warm, and comfy, a perfect layer for colder seasons. Combined with a shirt or blouse, it adds a touch of retro to your everyday outfit. I’ve worn mine to the university library countless times and even to the office! The Diane vest is a quick project and a great first introduction to colorwork crochet.

SIZE: made to measure (can be made for a chest measurement of 70-170 cm). You can make it exactly the right fit for you! The length can also be customized.

SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner (you just need to know the basics). This pattern includes written instructions, photos of every step, charts, and graphics, so it’s very easy to follow!

LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology)

YARN: I’ve used Katia Merino Aran (weight 4: afghan/aran), similar yarns include for example Drops Big Merino.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: you can adjust the length and size up for a looser fit.
