Faye dress – crochet pattern

The Faye dress is a unique meshy crochet piece, which works up incredibly quickly. It’s very versatile: wear it as a swimwear coverup on the beach, style it for a festival, or make a full length glittery version for a special occasion!

The pattern explains how to decrease at the waist and increase at the hips, to create the perfect fit for your body. You can also use this pattern to make a spaghetti top (just make the dress shorter). The pattern also includes bonus instructions for making a matching hip scarf and hat!

The pattern comes as a fully designed PDF in the house style of Cucurucu Crochet, as well as a clean, minimalist version for easy printing.

SIZE: made to measure (meaning you can adjust it to your own measurements).

SKILL LEVEL: intermediate. The construction of the dress is pretty simple, but the stitch can be challenging for beginners. The pattern includes written instructions as well as photos, illustrations and stitch charts for visual learners.

LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology)

YARN: cotton, weight 2 (Fine/Sport/4ply). I used 5 balls of Katia Capri (1 ball = 50 g/125 m/137 yds) and I usually wear size M. Or use some kind of glittery yarn! Using yarn with sequins is possible, but makes the project a bit more challenging.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: You can adjust the length, from cropped spaghetti top to maxi dress.
