Description
The Greta sweater is one of my most popular patterns! What’s great about this design is that you can use different types of yarn, creating different types of sweaters. Use fine cotton yarn to make a light sweater that is perfect for summer evenings and birthday parties (one customer even made the Greta sweater for her bridal shower!). Or use heavier wool yarn to make a warm and cozy sweater, to wear on winter dates or while cuddling up with a book and a cup of hot tea.
The Greta sweater pattern is also available as a pattern bundle with the matching Greta beret (10% off).
SIZE: XS-5XL (chest measurement: 70-159 cm). The length can be customized.
SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner (you just need to know the basics). This pattern includes written instructions, photos of every step, charts, and graphics, so it’s very easy to follow!
LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology)
YARN: you’ll need yarn weight 2 (Fine), 3 (Light) or 4 (Medium). I’ve used 14 balls of Katia Capri (50 g = 125 m/137 yds) and I usually wear size M.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: the Greta sweater is designed to be cropped, but you can make it longer (you could even make it into a dress!)
This pattern includes my version of the African flower motif, which was originally designed by Lounette Fourie and Anita Roussouw.

So far I only crocheted all the parts of the sweater and didn’t start assembling it yet. But so far I can tell that the instructions, the pictures and the overall layout of the pattern are great.
