Description
The Iris top is a 2-in-1 pattern, this means it includes instructions for 2 different designs: a cardigan and a tee. The cardigan has straps, buttons, or hooks and eyes on the front; the tee is reversible (front is the same as the back). Both designs (especially the cardigan) are slightly off the shoulder. You can customize the length of the top and the sleeves (a short sleeved cardigan or long sleeved tee is also possible). The lacy stitch works up quickly and is very addictive, you’ll want to make another one as soon as you finish!
The pattern comes as a PDF designed in the house style of Cucurucu Crochet, as well as a clean version for easy printing. The Iris top pattern is also available in a pattern bundle with the matching Iris dress & bandana (15% off).
SIZE: made to measure (meaning you can adjust it to your own measurements).
SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner (you just need to know the basics). The pattern includes written instructions as well as photos, illustrations, and stitch charts for visual learners.
LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology).
YARN: I recommend using cotton yarn of weight 3 (Light/8ply/DK/Light worsted). I used Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/6 (1 skein = 50 g/105 m/115 yds). I needed 7 skeins for the cardigan and 5 skeins for the tee, and I usually wear size M.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: you can adjust the length of the top and the sleeves.
