Description
The Quinn sweater has a lacy leaf pattern that starts in the center of the front/back panel and continues all the way down to the body and sleeves, which are finished with a decorative shell border. I recommend using alpaca yarn, to create a soft, fluffy garment which is also surprisingly warm.
The stitch is pretty simple once you’ve got the hang of it, and works up quickly. The sweater has a special set-in sleeve construction, making it more size inclusive, and you can choose between straight or tapered sleeves.
The pattern consists of a beautifully designed PDF in the style of Cucurucu Crochet, as well as a clean, minimalist version for easy printing.
SIZE: made to measure.
SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner (you just need to know the basics). This pattern includes written instructions, photos of every step, illustrations, and stitch charts, so it’s very easy to follow!
LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology).
YARN: I recommend an alpaca/wool blend of weight 4 yarn (medium/worsted/aran/10ply). I used 5 balls of Malou Light by Lang Yarns (1 ball – 50 g/190 m/208 yds) and I usually wear size M.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: you can adjust the length and choose between straight or tapered sleeves.
Enjoy crocheting!
