Description
The Ruth vest is a quick crochet project that combines elegance with comfort. This lacy design can be worn casually or dressed up, in colder and warmer seasons, making it very versatile. There’s the option to use mohair to create a soft, fluffy look.
SIZE: made to measure (meaning you can adjust it to your own measurements).
SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner (you just need to know the basics). This pattern includes written instructions, photos of every step, and diagrams, so it’s very easy to follow!
LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology).
YARN: I recommend using cotton yarn of weight 3 (Light/8ply/DK/Light worsted). It’s optional to add mohair. I used 4 balls of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/6 (1 ball = 50 g/105 m/115 yds) and 2 balls of Hobbii Kid Silk (1 ball = 25 g/200 m/219 yds) and I usually wear size M.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: you can adjust the length of the vest.

Love the pattern! Still working on it, but it works up so fast and I love the lace-feel with a thicker yarn. Only thing I struggled with was joining the flowers together in the ch13 spaces, as it got a bit bulky and not symetrical by just slst onto the chain. Figured it out by slst into the 7th stich, and now it lays flat! Can’t wait to finish it!

Fantastic look and does come out as instructed. Even with blocking, I think the S size will still be too big, however that may also be my tension.
