Suzie vest – crochet pattern

Description

The Suzie vest is a striped sweater vest with a zipper on the front, a high crew neck, and ribbed borders. This piece is inspired by the simple yet elegant look of Scandinavian knitwear, and is fully office-proof!

The stitch is easy and repetitive, making this a great project to work on while watching a show. The pattern comes as a fully designed PDF in the house style of Cucurucu Crochet, and also includes a clean version for easy printing.

SIZE: made to measure (you can adjust it to your own measurements).

SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner (you only need to know the basics). This pattern includes written instructions as well as photos, illustrations and stitch charts for visual learners. Please note that this pattern also requires some basic sewing skills, for adding the zipper.

LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology).

YARN: you’ll need weight 3 yarn (Light/8ply/DK/Light worsted). I recommend wool, but you could also use other fibres. I used 9 balls of Merino 120 by Lang Yarns (1 ball = 50 g/120 m/131 yd) and I usually wear size M.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: you can adjust the length of the vest. It’s also possible to add buttons instead of a zipper.
