Description
The Zinnia top is a quick, easy and intuitive crochet project. It can be worn as a summer top, or as a layering piece in colder seasons. The top consists of flowers that are joined as you go; this is a no-sewing pattern. It’s easy to adjust the top to your own measurements, and to customize it to your liking. You can use different colors for the flowers, and you can choose between ribbons or crocheted straps.
The pattern comes as a PDF designed in the house style of Cucurucu Crochet, as well as a clean version for easy printing.
SIZE: made to measure (meaning you can adjust it to your own measurements).
SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner (you just need to know the basics). This pattern includes written instructions, photos of every step, and diagrams, so it’s very easy to follow!
LANGUAGE: English (I use US terminology).
YARN: I recommend using yarn weight 2 (Fine), but a yarn on the thinner side of weight 3 (Light/DK) also works. I used merino, but you could also use cotton. The yarn I used is Merino 150 by Lang Yarns (1 ball = 50 g/150 m/164 yds). I used 4 balls and I usually wear size M.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS: you can adjust the length of the top. The ribbons are optional; they can be replaced with crocheted straps.
Enjoy crocheting!
